Richard Middaugh

September 18, 1942 — March 10, 2013

Richard Lee Middaugh, 70, a resident at Claremont Nursing & Rehab Center in Carlisle and formerly of Newville, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the home.

Born Friday, September 18, 1942 in Doylesburg, he was a son of the late Randall Lee Middaugh, Sr. and Marie J Denny Dunn.

Richard was a member of the Friends in Christ Church. He was employed by the former H. J. Heinz Company and the Altoona Hotel.
Richard loved antique cars and enjoyed playing cards.

Surviving are three sisters, Darlene V. Groff and her husband Donald of Newville, Maxine I. Shannon and her husband Terry of Shippensburg and Roseann M. Woodward and her husband Donald of Honey Grove; one uncle, Jesse Middaugh of Doylesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Lee Middaugh, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil officiating. Burial will be in Doylesburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
