Richard A. “Rick” Johnson, 63, of Shippensburg, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 in the Hershey Medical Center.
He was born March 22, 1953 in Carlisle, PA. Rick was a son of the late Luther and Gladys Cramer Johnson.
He worked for 25 years at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot and retired after working five years at the Letterkenny Army Depot. Rick was a 1971 graduate of the Grand Forks North Dakota High School.
He is survived by his wife, Linda K. Tosten Johnson, one daughter, Julie A. Smith and her husband Robert of Shippensburg, two granddaughters, Sierra L. and Kayla Smith, one brother, Jerry Johnson and his wife Tammy of Shippensburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg with The Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
