Rhonda Rose Wolford, 51, of Shippensburg, ran into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home.
She was born Saturday, December 20, 1969, in Chambersburg, PA. Rhonda was a daughter of Frances Marie (Sterrett) Beam and her step father, David James Beam of Shippensburg and her father, the late James Harvey Beam.
Rhonda was a member of the Grand Point Church in Shippensburg. She retired from Weigle and Associates in Shippensburg after 34 years of service. Rhonda was a 1987 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Rhonda will forever be remembered by her heart for others. Whether it was sending cards, caring for a loved one, or checking in on a friend, she truly and deeply loved those around her and made sure to make it known whenever possible.
In her spare time, Rhonda enjoyed reading, weeding and planting her flower beds, playing catch with her dogs Faith and Bella, going on mountain rides with her husband Kevin, and most of all, spending time with her family; especially her granddaughters, Morgan, Annalyn, and Amara. Her girls are lovingly known as “Mimi’s joy”.
Rhonda’s faith was always bigger than her fear. Even when cancer took its toll on her body, she never lost sight of how good God has been to her. She, as well as her family, will forever be grateful that she was able to be a part of the weddings of each daughter, as well as the birth of Annalyn and Amara.
In addition to her parents, Rhonda is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kevin S. Wolford; two daughters, Jessica R. Maser and her husband Matthew and Emily S. Diehl and her husband Joshua; three grandchildren, Annalyn Maser and Morgan and Amara Diehl; one sister, Susan R. Eyer and her husband Keith; in-laws, Whitey and Dena Martin, all of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
