Rebekah L. Tritt, 59, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Saturday, November 25, 2023, at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on April 6, 1964, in Chambersburg, the daughter of Louise Frances (Donnon) Tritt and the late William H. Tritt, Sr., and was a 1982 graduate of Big Spring High School.
Rebekah worked in housekeeping at Chapel Pointe, Carlisle for several years. She was a former member of the South Mountain Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, Shippensburg and the Aurora Club, Mechanicsburg. Rebekah enjoyed volunteering at Green Ridge Village, Newville, attending community meals in the Shippensburg area, and participating in the Special Olympics. She also liked to do word puzzles, was strong in her faith, and loved the Lord.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, William H. Tritt, Jr., of Shippensburg; and six nieces, Amanda, Amber, Tiffany, Jineene, Stephanie, and Bianka. In addition to her father, Rebekah was preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. David A. Erisman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Friday morning at the funeral home.
