Rebecca West

Rebecca A. “Becky” West, 37, of Mont Alto, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her home.

Born Saturday, August 30, 1980, she was a daughter of Jennie L. West Cordell, of Shippensburg; and John T. Marzullo, of Orrstown.

Becky was a 1998 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She was of the Protestant Faith.

Becky loved and cherished her family and her dog Lucy. She was an extremely brave soul. She loved attending the Demolition Derby at the Shippensburg Fair, and eating Reese’s cups.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Jaycie A. Sims, Mont Alto; step father, Daniel R. Cordell, Shippensburg; two brothers, Robert E. (wife Valerie) West, and Daren L. Marzullo, all of Orrstown; two sisters, Annie N. Marzullo, Orrstown, and Brittany M. Sherman, Shippensburg; she is also survived by two aunts, Laura A. (husband Jeremy L. ) Ott, Chambersburg, and Teresa L. West, Orrstown, also surviving are many other aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank V. and Maxine P. Marzullo, and maternal grandparents, George P. and Shirley J. West, Sr., and one uncle, George P. West, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Roger Knoll officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hall Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
