Ray E. Diehl, 69, of Shippensburg, died Thursday, April 30, 2015.
He was born December 23, 1945 in Carlisle. Ray was a son of the late Clyde E. and Hazel Groce Diehl.
He was a member of Orrstown United Brethren Church. Ray retired from Mack Truck, in Hagerstown, where he was a machinist. He was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg and UAW # 171.
Ray is survived by his wife Diane Rock Diehl who he married July 2, 1966, one daughter, Lynn (husband Brady) Hester, two granddaughters, Nicole D.J. Hester, and Kayla A. (husband Joshua) Lynch all of San Antonio, TX, one sister, Judith D. (husband Charles) Culbertson of Shippensburg, two brother in laws, Rodney Rock of Apache Junction, AZ, and Michael McMullen of Shippensburg.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Kenneth E. Williamson. Burial will be held in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home on Tuesday.
