Ray Millard Cummings, 96 a resident at Elmcroft of Shippensburg and formerly of Fannetttsburg died Thursday, June 24, 2010 in the home.
Born October 19, 1913 in Greene Township, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Otha B. and Jennie B. Mathna Cummings.
Ray retired as a self employed Mason. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII.
Surviving are two sons; Steven Cummings of Fannettsburg and Bradley Cummings of Chambersburg, one sister; Betty Gonya of Oregon, two nieces; Linda Messer and Lenna Gonya both of Ohio.
A graveside service with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg VFW and American Legion Posts will be held Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Salem Cemetery with the Rev. Paul K. Hauk officiating.
