Ray S. Brechbiel, 70, a resident of ManorCare, Chambersburg, formerly of Molly Pitcher Highway, Shippensburg, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the home.
Born November 13, 1941 in Shippensburg, he was a son of the late William R. and Margaret S. Strohm Brechbiel.
Ray was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg and was a retired dairy farmer. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and a 1959 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
He is survived by one daughter, Stacy L. Rohrer and her husband David of Carlisle, one granddaughter, Sydney V. Rohrer of Carlisle, one brother, Lee S. Brechbiel of Shippensburg, two sisters, G. Romaine Kirschenbaum of Lewes, DE, and Margaret I. Brechbiel of Chambersburg, and a nephew, William Hladick of Trenton, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Garry L. Culler officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home Saturday morning.
