Peggy Vaughn

Peggy L. Vaughn, 79, 7857 Molly Pitcher Highway, Shippensburg, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born November 12, 1931 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Wilmot J. and Grace Martin Mowery.
Peggy was a member of the Mongul United Brethren Church, Shippensburg. She retired in 1989 from L’Agilon. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Edgar S. Vaughn, two Sons; Stanley E. Vaughn, Scotland and Michael A. Vaughn, Gettysburg, one brother; John Mowery, Shippensburg, one sister; Jean Mathna, Orrstown, three grandsons; Trevor Vaughn, Scotland, Chad Vaughn, Hagerstown, MD, and Stanley M. Vaughn, Chambersburg, four great grandchildren; Sage A. and Bryce O., Nathan R. Vaughn all of Chambersburg and Olivia C. Vaughn, Hagerstown, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the Mongul United Brethren Church, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Frank L. Mathna officiating. Burial will be in Mongul Cemetery. Viewings will be held Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. and one hour prior to the service Thursday, in the church.
