Pauline M. Singer, 73, of Shippensburg, formerly of North Harmon Road, Newburg, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012.
Born February 12, 1938 in Newburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Paul and Vesta Belle Rhoades Miller.
She attended Blue Mountain Brethren in Christ Church, Newburg and was a member of the Minnequa Social Club in Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William J. “Bill” Singer who died June 30, 2011, two brothers, Arthur P. and Merle E. Miller, and two sisters, Rebecca Harmon and Carrie Jane Miller.
She is survived by two sons, William C. “Bill” Singer and his wife Esther of Newburg, and Charles L. Singer and his wife Jeanne of Fayetteville, three daughters, Karen S. Finkey and her husband Donald of Orrstown, Sharon J. Singer of Shippensburg, and Brigett R. Thomas of Fayetteville, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. R. Leroy Eberly. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Newburg. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
