Paul H. Taylor

Paul H. Taylor, 78, of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully the morning of Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

He was born on March 1, 1947 in Willow Hill, a son of the late Wilbur and Louella (Price) Taylor. He married Georgia H. (Hammond) Taylor on January 29, 1972.

Paul was a faithful member of the Shippensburg Presbyterian Church and United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was an accomplished PIAA soccer official for over 35 years, officiating numerous state championship games. Paul was an avid golfer who loved and cherished spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, Georgia H. Taylor of Shippensburg, he is survived by one son, Scott Taylor and wife Kelly of Shippensburg; three grandchildren, Chloe Taylor and partner Madi, Jayden Taylor, and Kaedyn Taylor, all of Shippensburg; four siblings, Betty Rosenberry of Chambersburg, Harold Taylor and wife Helen of Shippensburg, Donald Taylor and wife Joyce of Hartford City, IN, and Glen Taylor of Madison, SD; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Dean Taylor, Ethel Ile, Orlena Umbrell, Harry Taylor, and George Taylor.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Gary Rebok officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by the Minutemen of the American Legion Post #223. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
