Paul A. Smith, 62, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the evening of Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born on November 27, 1959, at the Tyndall Air Force Base, Bay County, FL, a son of the late Gerald A. and Gladys (Cox) Smith.

Paul last worked as an operations manager for Mott’s Inc., Aspers, for twenty five years. He was a long-time member of the Hub City Club, Shippensburg. Paul enjoyed shooting pool, playing golf, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his brother, Gerald Todd Smith of Las Vegas, NV; a nephew, Sheldon Smith of Las Vegas, NV; two aunts, Maria Smith of Shippensburg and Gloria Van Scyoc of Palmyra; and six cousins.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his beloved paternal grandparents, Paul and Mabel Smith; a brother, Damon Smith; and an uncle, Raymond Smith.

His graveside funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, January 10, 2022, in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. The Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate. There will be a private family viewing at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg, earlier that morning.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
