Paul Ile

Paul D. Ile, 79, a resident of Celebration Villa of Shippensburg, departed this life on the evening of Sunday, August 6, 2023.

He was born on October 4, 1943, in Roxbury, a son of the late Phillip and Mamie (O’Donnell) Ile. He married Mary Jane Clough in 1963, in Hagerstown. She preceded him in death on August 8, 2020.

Paul worked as a truck driver at Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe, Chambersburg, from where he retired. In his free time, Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two sons, Keith D. Ile and wife Ruby of Bradenton, FL and Kennie R. Ile and wife Briana of Shippensburg; a grandson, Tucker Ile of Shippensburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and spouse, Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, and three sisters.
His private graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, in the Mongul Cemetery, Shippensburg. Pastor J.R. Wells will officiate.
