Paul Gutshall

Paul E. “Buck” Gutshall, III, 34, of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 29, 2020.

Born Wednesday, August 21, 1985 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Paul E. Gutshall, Jr., and wife Karen of Shippensburg and Sheryl L. Mell, and husband Ron of Carlisle.

Buck was presently employed at Design Build Custom Construction.

He attended the Shippensburg Area School District where he played in sports consisting of wrestling when he was younger and later in high school, baseball and football. He was an excellent bowler and loved to hunt. Buck was good at working on vehicles and enjoyed the races. He never missed an opportunity to help where needed.
Buck also had a talent of cooking where he worked at many different restaurants. He always gave everyone a warm smile and a big hug when he met them. He loved his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Kyler Gutshall of Shippensburg; one sister, Jodi Gutshall of Carlisle; one half-sister, Olivia Gutshall of Shippensburg; three step brothers, Corey Miley and wife Crystal of Carlisle, Shane Mell and wife Jessica of Mechanicsburg and Cody Mell of Altoona; two nieces Ally Baker and Brianna Mell; one nephew Archer Wieland; grandparents, Paul Sr. and Donna Gutshall of Carlisle. He is also survived by his companion, Ashleigh Morrison; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Diane Poston and William Sowers and two uncles Rob and Randy Sowers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Melissa Mankamyer officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Harbor, 55 West King Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
