Paul Clippinger

August 10, 1918 — October 24, 2010

Paul W. “Clip” Clippinger, 92 of Shippensburg, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 in the Falling Spring Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born August 10, 1918 in Shippensburg, he was the son of Murray F. and Fannie C. Wagner Clippinger.
Paul was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223 and Durff-Kuhn VFW Post #6168 all of Shippensburg.
For over 25 years he was the owner and operator of the former Supreme Dairy in Shippensburg.
He was a 1936 graduate of the Shippensburg High School and a member of the Chambersburg Mall Walkers.
Clip was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII landing at Normandy on D-Day receiving the American Service Metal, Bronze Star and the European-African Middle Eastern Service Metal with the Bronze Arrow Head. He enjoyed traveling with his family, carpentry and working in his yard.
Surviving are five sons; Royd Keys and his wife Beverly, Jacksonville, FL., Everett L. Miller Jr. and his wife Gloria Anne, Falkville, AL., Robert E. Miller, Sr. and his wife Edwinna, Shippensburg, Jeffrey A. Miller and his wife Natalie, Shippensburg and Michael C. Miller and his wife Miriam, Newburg, three daughters; Teresa A. Clough and her husband Jay, Shippensburg, Pamela J. Pevahouse and her husband Richard, Bunker Hill, WV and Bonita K. Ocker and her husband Kenneth, Shippensburg, 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Florence M. Keys Clippinger who died February 15, 1978 and his second wife Mary C. Miller Clippinger who died February 28, 1994.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Thomas L. Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg VFW and American Legion Posts. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
