Paul W. Brenize, 88, of Shippensburg, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Magnolias Senior Living in Chambersburg, PA.
He was born Saturday, April 7, 1934 in Mowersville, he was a son of the late Robert Jacob and Daisy Alda Rebok Brenize.
Paul worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator for various excavating companies. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Newburg.
He was a member of the South Mountain Antique Tractor Association, Shippensburg Rod & Gun Club, and Cumberland Valley Antique Engine & Machinery Club. He loved hunting up until his later years, going to tractor shows, and driving his own antique tractors.
Paul is survived by one son, Steven P. (Anita) Brenize; one daughter in-law, Angie (Lloyd) Chamberlin; one brother, Galen Brenize, all of Shippensburg; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Marie Crider Brenize, who passed away on September 27, 2016; one son, James Brenize; one brother, Clyde Brenize; and one sister; Barbara Hammond.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Otterbein United Methodist Church, with Pastor John R. Quintilian officiating. Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
