Patsy A. Woods, 82, a resident of Manor Care, Chambersburg, departed this life on the morning of Saturday, October 31, 2020.

She was born on October 10, 1938, in, Letterkenny Township, a daughter of the late Harry and Pauline Keefer and was married to William F. Book and then Robert Woods, both of whom preceded her in death.

Patsy worked as a seamstress at the former Stanley Co., Chambersburg for over twenty years, and then worked as a custodian at James Burd Elementary School, Shippensburg for over fifteen years. She was a big fan of Penn State football and did a lot of sewing when she was at home. Patsy enjoyed taking trips to Ocean City, where she and her family did a lot of boating, and Patsy always loved and looked forward to spending time with her granddaughter, KyLee, who was very important to her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sina M. Parson and husband Scott of Chambersburg; her granddaughter, KyLee A. Phillips and husband Brett of Pittsburgh; two great grandchildren, Paisley and Harrison Phillips, both of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and both husbands, Patsy was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Rouzer and Bernice Uglow and one brother, Bert Keefer.

Her graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in the Fannettsburg Reformed Church Cemetery. Pastor Dale Detweiler will officiate. There will be no public viewing or visitation. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a worthy veterans charity of one’s choice.
