Patsy B. Shoap

Patsy B. Shoap, 85, formerly of Shippensburg and resident of Chambers Pointe Health Care Center, passed away the morning of Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

She was born on February 24, 1939 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Harry B. and Velma (Crouse) Bock. 

Patsy was a 1957 graduate of Shippensburg Area High School and member of Messiah United Methodist Church. Throughout her life, Patsy loved traveling with her husband, Donald; their favorite place being Sanibel, Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl S. Yeager and husband Ralph of Chambersburg; three siblings, Anna Rosenberry of Ft. Loudon, Warren Bock of Harrisonburg, VA, and Donald Bock and wife Beth of Mingus, TX; four nephews; and one niece. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Shoap, who passed away on December 7, 2003. Also preceding in death are two siblings, Vera McKim and Beryl Bock.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service. Patsy will be privately laid to rest alongside her husband in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
