Patrick H. McCleaf passed away on December 19, 2016, at the age of 69. He was born on April 11, 1947, to the late Samuel S. and Olive E. Winters McCleaf.
He was a 1965 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran from 1965 to 1969. He was in the Seabees and served in Vietnam for eighteen months. He moved to Yuma, AZ, in 1978, where he was employed as a tile setter for Collin’s Tile and Denny’s Tile.
He is survived by two daughters, Venus (Steve Kinley) Snoke of Chambersburg, and Brandy (Randy Rendell) McCleaf of Yuma, AZ; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Elvin (wife Annabelle) McCleaf of Shippensburg; and one sister, Sharon (husband Charles) Wingerd, of Fayetteville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Ryan McCleaf, who passed away at the age of six in 1988; and two brothers.
The family would like to give special recognition to Fran and Jeff Martin of Yuma, AZ, who were special friends and helped him through the good and bad times in his life.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
