Patricia Ruth Helm, 72, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born Friday, October 29, 1948 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Hubert and Mildred (Kennedy) Kistler.
Throughout Patricia’s life, she was employed in business management by Hoffman Mills, Ward Trucking, and Chambersburg Hospital. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Shippensburg and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. Patricia loved spending time and taking trip with her family. She especially enjoyed babysitting her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lawrence W. Helm; three daughters, Lynn Carroll (Gary) Hughes of Mechanicsburg, Wendy Carroll (Nate) Whiteside of Malvern, PA., and Paula (Matthew Jones) Helm of Carlisle; one son, Robert (Jeanne) Helm of Shippensburg; three grandsons; five great grandchildren; five sisters, Barb Kauffman and Paula (Carl) Stepler, both of Fayetteville, Elaine (George) Roelke, Evonne Zeigler, and Carlene Yohe, all of Shippensburg; one brother, Carl (Deb) Snyder of Chambersburg; and one sister-in-law, Lois Snyder of Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Snyder Sr.
There will be no public viewing or service at this time, however, a celebration of life service at the First Assembly of God will be scheduled at a later date and time. Patricia will be laid to rest in the Mongul Cemetery.
