Patricia Ann Hawkins, 73, of Newville, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born Saturday, August 23, 1941 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Stella E. Strayer Waugh.
Patricia was a member of the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church and recently attended the Green Spring First Church of God, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved flowers, and all animals especially dogs.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna L. (husband Gary) Negley of Newville, and Diane L. (husband Bill) Stum of Enola, two sons, David L. Hawkins, Jr. of Newville and Dale Leroy (wife Sherry) Hawkins of Carlisle, five sisters, Delores, Flora, Carolyn, Stella and Kathy, six brothers, Richard, Ronald, Steven, Ricky, Michael, and Robert, four grandchildren and three great granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lawrence “Davey” Hawkins, Sr. who died May 11, 2012 and Grandson, Jesse L. Wingert who died, March 16, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor Philip Steele officiating. Burial will be in Brown’s Mill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
