Norma Jean Strassburger, 79, of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Green Ridge Village, Newville.
Born Friday, February 25, 1938 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Herman R. and N. Viola Telfer Strassburger.
She was a member of the Shippensburg Presbyterian Church. Norma was a 1955 graduate of the Shippensburg High School and a 1959 graduate of the Shippensburg University. She retired from the Shippensburg University. Norma was a member of the Shippensburg Civic Club.
Norma is survived by a step-sister, Arlene D. McCann of Chambersburg; a special friend, Edna (husband Gary) Fenton of Shippensburg, and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Shippensburg Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael Miller officiating. Burial will be private in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
