Nicole Ott

Nicole Mellott Ott, 42, of Chambersburg, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Friday, March 10, 1972 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Ruth E. Rosenberry Mellott of Shippensburg, and the late Forrest C. Mellott, Sr.

Nicole was a 1990 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She was presently employed as a CNA at the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, and formerly worked at the Shippensburg Health Care Center and the former Hoffman Mills, Shippensburg.

She was a member of the Ebenezer Church in Greencastle which she loved and cherished very much. She enjoyed playing games on her phone. Nicole loved her family and the patients that she cared for and will be sadly missed by all.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Stephen A. Ott; two sons, Forrest C. Miller and Dallas Quinn Miller; one grandson, Forrest C. Miller, Jr.; one brother Ronnie E. Mellott, and his wife Lisa all of Chambersburg; one sister, Kathy E. Mellott, and her husband Harold, of Shippensburg; two step sons, Christopher B. Ott, of Shippensburg, and Austin Gossert, of Marion; one step daughter, Jessica Gossert, of Chambersburg; and one step sister, Stephanie G. Triplett, of Jacksonville, NC.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Forrest C. Mellott, Jr. and one sister, Carol E. Burkett.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor David Grove officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer Church, 3661Williamson Road, Greencastle, PA 17225.
