Nelson Dale Christman, 67, of Shippensburg, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 22, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Tuesday, November 13, 1956 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late George William and Susie Mildred Helman Christman
Nelson retired in 2021 from the former Cumberland Valley Co-Op in Shippensburg.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deborah J. Rice Christman, Shippensburg; one step son, Greg A. Heberlig, Shippensburg; one step daughter, Michelle R. (Jeremy) Kelso, Newburg; three grandchildren, Miranda E. (Bryan) Spirk, Lancaster, Brea R. Kelso, and Kolbi R. Kelso, both of Newburg; two great grandchildren, Sophie and Stella Spirk, both of Lancaster; one sister, Hazel (Nelson) Zullinger, Chambersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
