Nancy L. Shrader, 88, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born Tuesday, June 30, 1936 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late John and Mary E. Shoemaker Sherman.
Nancy worked alongside her husband, and was the co-owner and operator of Shrader Produce and the Shrader dairy farm.
Nancy was a 1954 graduate of the Chambersburg High School. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casinos, traveling, hunting mushrooms, fishing, and going to the county fairs.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra A. (John) Knutelsky, Shippensburg; two grandsons, Jered John (wife Jessica) Knutelsky, Kingsland, GA, and Joel J. (Russell) Knutelsky, St. Louis, Mo; one great grandson, Quinn G. Knutelsky, Kingsland, GA; one brother, William Sherman, Fayetteville; one sister, Susan Leonard, Dubois; one brother in-law, William Shrader, Shippensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Shrader who passed away June 10, 2010; one brother, Donald Sherman; and two sisters, Ruth Bishal and Mary Gustafson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with The Rev. Dale Detweiler officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
