Nancy L. Cope, 62, of Shippensburg passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1956 in Sunbury, PA. Nancy was a daughter of the late Marvin and Nancy Propst Shrawder.
She attended the Shippensburg Presbyterian Church. Nan’s love and kindness shined through her eyes and smile. Without thinking she always went above and beyond for others before herself. Nan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy was her Jaxon Boy and Levi Carterbug; she was the proudest Grammy. The boys never went without homemade cookies or any needs they had. When Nan wasn’t baking or cooking she was crocheting a blanket for a new baby, family member or friend. She wanted everyone to feel her love and warmth.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Paul W. Cope, Jr., two daughters, Julie Ann Cope of Danville and Rebecca E. Jones and her husband Charles of Shippensburg, two grandsons, Jaxon C. and Levi C. Jones of Shippensburg, one brother, Marvin Shrawder of Danville, two sisters, Donna Russell of Northumberland and Bonnie Edmeads of Danville, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life services will be held at Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church located at 108 Welliver Dr. Bloomsburg, PA 17815 at 11 am on Wednesday September the 19th 2018.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg Presbyterian Church, 12 S. Prince St., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
