Monica M. Baldoni, 93, of Newville, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 30, 1923 in Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County. Monica was a daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine Straubinger Berzinskas.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Baldoni who died September 26, 1982. One brother, Vincent Berzinskas, is also deceased.
Monica is survived by three sons, Michael C. Opolonik and his wife Lek,of Shippensburg and Thailand, John J. Opolonik and his wife Nancy, of Newburg, and Arthur D. Baldoni and his wife Carole, of Newville, one sister, Gertrude Hill of Charleston, SC, five grandchildren, Dominic, Maria, Gina, Adam, and Tanya, and two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Jordan.
Memorial services will be private. Burial will take place in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
