Michael R. “Mike” Noel, Jr., 65, of Newville, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born on July 14, 1956 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Michael R. and Alice J. Noel, Sr.
Mike was a graduate of the Shippensburg High School. He loved woodworking, hunting and fishing, and was a gun enthusiast. Mike was also a member of the Big Spring Lodge #361 Free & Accepted Masons.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie M. Hurley; one granddaughter, Briana (fiancé Luke) Hurley; one sister, Barbara Gamble; one brother, David (Michele) Noel; four nephews and one niece; one uncle and two aunts; and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Kay (Mentzer) Noel, who passed away on November 26, 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Mr. Chalmer Helm, Jr. and Mr. Bradley Mentzer will officiate. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service, with a Masonic service being held at 2:45p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carlisle Salvation Army, 20 East Pomfret Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
