Merle Wilbur Myers, 72, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, July 9 2016 at his home.
Born Tuesday, December 14, 1943 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Leroy Andrew and Caroline Emma Snoke Myers.
Merle was a 1962 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He worked at The Beistle Company in Shippensburg where he drove truck, and retired in 1998 as a delivery person for Domino’s Pizza in Chambersburg. Merle was a member of AARP and an avid WWE Wrestling and NASCAR Fan.
Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Mary Elizabeth Hollerand Myers, of Shippensburg, one brother, Galen L. (wife Sandra) Myers, of Orrstown and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James O. Bolich officiating.
The family has requested omission of flowers.
