Merle A. Diehl, 49, of Jacksonville, NC, formerly of Olde Scotland Road, Chambersburg, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
Born March 28, 1963 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, he was a son of Henry A. Diehl of Chambersburg and the late Vivian E. Horst Diehl.
Merle was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He was a manager of WB Sales Company in Jacksonville, NC.
In addition to his father he is survived by two brothers, Donald E. Diehl and his wife Joyce of Orrstown, and Roy E. Diehl and his wife BG of Seminole, FL, one sister, Lois Ann Beam and her husband Robert of Chambersburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Pleasant Hall Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
