McKinlee J. "Mack" O'Donnell

McKinlee Joseph “Mack” O’Donnell, 38, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 as the result of a long battle with brain cancer.

He was the son of the late William O’Donnell, Sr. and Gloria Mansour-Staggs O’Donnell.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria O’Donnell; two brothers, Dan O’Donnell of Orrstown and Billy O’Donnell of Shippensburg; and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Staggs.

McKinlee attended schools in the Tuscarora School District and finished in 2004 with the Mason Dixon Home School Association. 

At an early age, McKinlee loved computers and hung out at his father’s computer business. He learned how to build and repair computers and when he was older, joined his father in the business. McKinlee also worked in IT with his brother, Mike, in his business as well. He worked in different fields, but always came back to Information Technology.

McKinlee loved nature, the environment, and all animals. He studied animal behavior and desired to become a veterinarian. Besides video games, he enjoyed hiking in the mountains and handcrafting jewelry. 

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Assembly of God, Shippensburg. Pastor Timothy Beitzel will officiate.
