Mary L. Millhouse, 83, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Sunday, August 19, 1934 in Fayetteville, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Lydia M. Henderson Thomas.
Mary worked as a seamstress at the former L’Aiglon Clothing Factory, and the former Greif Clothing Factory, both in Shippensburg.
Mary is survived by two sons, John M. Millhouse, Jr, and David L. Millhouse; two daughters, Brenda K. Bigler, and Elizabeth J. Millhouse, all of Shippensburg; three brothers, Harry D. and Rick Thomas, both of Chambersburg, and Paul W. (wife Marie) Thomas, Shippensburg; two sisters, Sarah J. Warren, and Edna E. (husband Roy) Yeager, all of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Millhouse, Sr., who died October 14, 1988, two sons, Steven and Timothy Millhouse, one grandson, Jeffrey Millhouse, one brother, L. Benjamin Thomas, and son in-law William R. Bigler.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Philip E. Steele officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday in the funeral home.
