Mary K. Lytle, 91, of Pine Stump Road, Chambersburg, died Monday, March 10, 2014 in Menno Haven.
Born May 13, 1922 in Shippensburg, she was an adopted daughter of the late Guy W. and Grace Koser Kitzmiller.
Mary was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God and their KYB Sunday School Class. She was a farmer’s wife and a member of the Franklin County Farm Women Group #1.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, J. Paul Lytle whom she married June 7, 1940 and died July 2, 1995.
She is survived by one son, Jay P. Lytle (Marlene), three daughters, Joyce Dice (Nelson), Linda Forbes (Raymond), and Mary Ann Tosten (Larry) all of Chambersburg, eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 11 a.m. Officiating will be a grandson, Pastor Loren C. Decker. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
