Mary S. Kirby, 82, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Green Ridge Village, Newville.
Born October 29, 1929 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Hancock Doyle.
Mary was a member of the Mainsville United Brethren Church. She was co-owner of Ralph Kirby Plumbing and Heating and years ago she was employed by the former Nettie Frock Dress Factory and the Shirt Craft Company all in Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband Ralph K. Kirby, two daughters, Connie Wadel and her husband Ronald, Sr. of Shippensburg, and Kellie J. Peters and her husband Michael of Elizabethtown, three grandchildren, Ronald A. Wadel. Jr., Mark Kenneth Wadel, and MacKenzie T. Peters, one brother, Harry Doyle of Shippensburg, one sister Betty Sechler of Somerset, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Robert L. Mentzer. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
