Mary A. Kenyon

Mary A. Kenyon, 78, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Mercy House of Chambersburg.

She was born on June 14, 1946 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Charles Francis and Sarah Florence Coy Ostra.

Mary was a 1964 graduate of Shippensburg High School and attended the First Assembly of God. She was an avid sewer and enjoyed crafting. 

She is survived by her three sons, Courtland A. Kenyon of Baltimore, MD, Jack C. Kenyon of Fredericksburg, VA, and Barclay K. (Crystal) Kenyon of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren, Phelan, Sage, Cadence, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Ian, and Conor Kenyon; one sister, Sara Jane Ostra; nephew, Colby (Karla) Neil of Shippensburg; and numerous other nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Kenyon, who passed away on February 8, 2008. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Michael J. Ostra; and one sister, Lynnda M. Neil.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Mary’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time at the First Assembly of God in Shippensburg.
