Mary Jane Ile, 76, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
She was born on January 5, 1944, in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Donald and Violet (Coy) Clough. Mary Jane was a 1962 graduate of Shippensburg High School. She married Paul D. Ile in 1963, in Hagerstown, MD.
Mary Jane worked as a seamstress at the former Stanley Co., Chambersburg, until its closing. She then provided child care from her home. In her free time, she liked to read and spend time with her family. Mary Jane loved to be around children and really enjoyed caring for the children that she looked after.
In addition to her husband of fifty-seven years, Paul, she is survived by two sons, Keith D. Ile and wife Ruby of Enola and Kennie R. Ile and wife Briana of Shippensburg; her grandson, Tucker D. Ile of Shippensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg, has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements. She will be laid to rest in the Mongul Cemetery at the conclusion of her private graveside service.
