Mary Ann Goshorn, 75, of Lewisberry, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born Thursday, September 30, 1948 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late William H.D. and Dorothy E. Greenwood Coldsmith.
She was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God. Mary Ann loved square dancing, alongside her husband Gerald, and was a member of the Shippen Squares for over five years, the Penn Dixies in Chambersburg, the Palm Squares in Palmyra, the Clover Leafs in Camp Hill, and participated in many other square dancing groups over the years.
As a child, Mary Ann worked hard on the Coldsmith family orchard. She enjoyed Penn State Football, camping, gardening, flowers, crafts, ceramics, canning, and loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald L. “Jerry” Goshorn whom she married December 9, 1967; two daughters, Patricia Ann (Daniel) McClintock, Powhatan, VA, and Christine Ellen (Timothy) Diehl, Shippensburg; one son, Bradley Alexander Goshorn, Westmanland, ME; eight grandchildren, Cody, Hayden, Joshua, Ellen, Gretchen, Chase, Jessica, and Colin; six great grandchildren, Isla, Tenley, Leeland, Henry, Oliver, Ellie, and one on the way; seven siblings, Martha “Marty” Martin, Shirley Kinder, and Louise Skelton, all in Florida, Sandra Durf, William Coldsmith, Douglas Coldsmith, and Susan Graehling, all in Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Haze Martin.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Gary Hornbaker officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, in the funeral home.
