Martha Reineman

April 19, 1934 — October 1, 2012

Martha A. Reineman, 78, a resident of the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, formerly of Muddy Run Road, Orrstown, died Monday, October 1, 2012 in the home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 19, 1934 in Newburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Rosa Barnhart Alleman. Martha was a member of Prince United Brethren Church in Shippensburg and her hobbies included painting, reading and sewing. Martha and her husband, Lester owned and operated their dairy farm from 1955 until 1977 and she worked at both the Stanley Company and Menno Haven in Chambersburg. She was a 1952 graduate of the former Shippensburg High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Reineman, Jr. who died April 10, 2009, and a daughter, Stacy D. Reineman who died May 19, 1967. Two brothers, Donald and John Alleman, and one sister, Nancy Alleman is also deceased. She is survived by two daughters, Rhea R. Foust and her husband Robert of Orrstown, and Susan I. Zeigler and her husband Rick of New Cumberland, two sons, Lester E. Reineman, III and his wife Joey of Chambersburg, and Cory L. Reineman of Orrstown, seven grandchildren, Tim Dubbs, Matt Dubbs, Julie Mohler, Lorie Varner, Gage Reineman, Josette Reineman, and Gabriel Reineman, three great grandchildren, Shana Dubbs, Zachary Varner, and Cody Dubbs, three sisters, Elizabeth Barner and Doris Hey both of Shippensburg, and Lois Timmons of Newburg, two brothers, Robert Alleman of Shippensburg, and Ralph Alleman of Chambersburg, a sister in-law, Mildred Perry of Shippensburg, and numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 in the Prince Street United Brethren Church at 11 a.m. with The Rev. James O. Bolich officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg and one hour prior to the services in church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Street United Brethren Church, 17 North Penn Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
