Marlin Lee Stevens, 73, of Mechanicsburg, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born Tuesday, July 22, 1941 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Wilbur W. and Julia M. Gilbert Stevens.
Marlin was of the Methodist Faith. He retired from Roadway Express in Carlisle as a driver where he worked from September 1988 until June 2003 and was a member of the Teamsters Local # 776, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 1299 Carlisle.
Surviving are his two daughters, Lisa M. Stevens and her companion Rene Laffoon of Irwin and Corrie D. Wadel and her husband Mike, one granddaughter, Allison A. Wadel, one grandson, Alexander L. Wadel both of Shippensburg and one sister, Velva J. Rosenberry of Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Harold A. Bolyard, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be held in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American cancer Society, Franklin & Fulton Unit 384 Floral Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
