Marlin L. Graham Sr. 71, 2239 Lindsay Lot Road, Shippensburg, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 in the South Mountain Restoration Center.
He was born February 21, 1940 in Carlisle. He was a son of the late Thomas Asper Sr. and Kline Clara Sommerville Graham.
Marlin was a member of the Ridge Church of the Brethren. He retired from Schneider Trucking in Carlisle in 2002 as a mechanic and previously worked for Ryder-Pie Trucking and North and South Trucking.
Marlin was a Member of the Cumberland Valley Lodge F.A.M. # 315, Minnequa Social Club, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Durff- Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, all of Shippensburg, Loyal Order of Moose # 842, Chambersburg, Marlin loved hunting, fishing and camping and enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Florence M. Basore Graham, one daughter, Robin Johnson and husband, Douglas, Willow Hill, three sons, Marlin L. Graham Jr., Marion, Alan J. Graham, and wife Tracy, Shippensburg, and Kevin A. Graham, and wife Kelly, Chambersburg two step-daughters, Karrina S. Lawson and husband, Darryle, Chambersburg, Terresa S. McCabe, and husband Mark, Lynchburg, VA, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas Asper Graham Jr., Orrstown, Dale Graham, Bedford and Donald Graham, Chambersburg, four sisters, Helen Wenger, Vivian Brewbaker, Ann Graham and Glenda Varner, all of Shippensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Graham, sister, Elizabeth Wadel and step-daughter, Annette Snively.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Earl F. Stovall officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Viewings will be held Wednesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home.
