Mark A. Piper, 39, of Newburg, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 1, 1971 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Betty J. Henry Piper of Newburg and the late Ellis A. “Jake” Piper who died November 24, 2000.
Mark was a 1989 graduate of Wordsworth Academy in Philadelphia. In his early years Mark attended the Roxbury United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to play Bingo.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son; Isaac, three daughters; Ashley, Gabby and Audrey, one sister; Angela A. Piper of Newburg, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. in the Roxbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ronald S. McElwee and the Rev. James White officiating. Burial will be private in the Amberson Cemetery.
