Mark A. Minnich, 69, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Monday, April 4, 2022 at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital.
He was born on Friday, March 13, 1953 in Carlisle, a son of the late Stanley “Mike” and Joann (Weidaw) Minnich.
Mark worked as a materials specialist at JLG Industries. He was also a past X-Ray Technician and master electrician. Mark was the equipment manager for the Mechanicsburg Midget Football program for over 25 years, past president of Jaycees, Mechanicsburg, and was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Shippensburg. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and loved to hunt, fish, and watch NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth H. “Beth” (Hockersmith) Minnich of Shippensburg; three sons, Brandon (Casey) Minnich of Mechanicsburg, Shawn (Rachel) Minnich of Mechanicsburg, and Kyle (Hannah) Maurer of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Camryn, Ryann, Carson, Cooper, Bailey and Ella; two siblings, Cathy (Les) Smock and Michael (Jody) Minnich, both of Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Minnich.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
