Marion G. Reeder, 97, a resident of Green Ridge Village, Newville, died on Sunday, December 18, 2011.
Born on January 26, 1914 in Shippensburg, a daughter of the late Eber E. and Mabel S. Wolf Reeder, Marion was a 1933 graduate of Shippensburg Area High School and a 1938 graduate of Shippensburg State Teachers College.
She was a 4th grade elementary school teacher at the former Mainsville Elementary School, a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church, the Fort Morris AARP #2525, both of Shippensburg, and the P.A.S.S.A.R.
Marion was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Kiser officiating. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg, has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Lutheran Church at 34 Orange Street Shippensburg, PA 17257.
