Marion Mcmullen

Marion R. McMullen, 91, of Newburg, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Magnolias of Chambersburg.

Born Saturday, June 21, 1930 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel A. and Marion A. Kitzmiller Orris.

Marion was of the Protestant Faith. She was a 1948 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. Marion retired as a seamstress in 1992 from the former Greif Company, Shippensburg with 43 years of service.

She is survived by two sons, Calvin J. McMullen, Alexandria, VA and Jerry L. McMullen, Shippensburg; two sisters, Janet L. McBeth, Walnut Bottom and Doris J. Feather, Hanover; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin J. McMullen, Sr., who passed away February 6, 1998; one sister, Anna Lee Norcross; and daughter in-law, Berneta Diehl McMullen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Robert E. Stump officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, in the funeral home.
