Marie Stella Laughman

Marie Stella Laughman, 59, of Orrstown, passed away on the morning of Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the comfort of her home with her loving husband at her side.

She was born on June 11, 1965, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Ralph J. and Janet M. (Wagner) Richardson, Jr. Marie married her high school sweetheart, Matthew J. Laughman, on June 11, 1988, spending a total of forty-two years together.

Marie was a graduate of the Thompson Institute, where she earned her C.N.A. degree. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Rosey Posey and sitting at her kitchen table for hours working on diamond art and watching the birds.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Marie was blessed to have five beautiful daughters, Christen Croutz, Mary Cashell, Tammy Laughman, Angel Coldsmith, and Xena Rhinehart, as well as a step-daughter, Heather Russell. All of those daughters blessed her with three granddaughters and seven grandsons. She is also survived by four brothers, Brian, Ralph, and Johnny, all of Shippensburg and David of Dillsburg.

Marie’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted with to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. A celebration of her life is being planned for a future date and time at the Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Company.
