Marie L. Means Holtry, 94, of Shippensburg and a resident at Green Ridge Village, Newville, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the home.
Born Sunday, August 29, 1920 in Middle Spring, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late James Q. and Anna Mabelle Crawford Means.
Marie was a member of Grace United Church of Christ for over 50 years. She retired as a seamstress from the former Marden Clothing Company in Shippensburg, she enjoyed making crafts.
Her survivors include many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Holtry who died June 25, 2013, two sisters, Betty Ott and Agnes Chamberlin and one brother, Donald G. Means
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. George W. Heckard officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Church of Christ, 121 East Orange Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
