Marguerite A. “Margie” Meily, 64, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the Hershey Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born June 7, 1951 in Palmyra, PA. Margie was a daughter of the late Martin and Rose Lance Harnish.
Margie enjoyed sewing, working outside, walking, and most of all being with her family. She attended the South Fairview First Church of God, Newville. Margie was a 1969 graduate of the Trinity High School.
Margie is survived by her husband, Richard C. “Dick” Meily, one daughter, Kaitlyn M. Meily and her fiancé Jason Oates of Prince Frederick, MD, four sisters, Christine Wolf of WI, Dorothy Harnish of GA, Carol Harnish of VA, and Anita Jacobson of OH, one brother, Martin Harnish of FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Shippensburg at 6:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Harry Madison. Burial will take place in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home Thursday evening.
