Margaret E. “Peg” Jumper, 83, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 6, 1932 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Roy A. and Ruth Gerhart Gipe.
Peg was a member of the Ebenezer Church of God, Orrstown, she retired in 2009 from the Shippensburg University.
Surviving are five sons, David Motter, Shippensburg, James Motter, Selbyville, DE, Marlin H. (wife Stacey) Motter, Jr., Newville, Mitchell (wife Janet) Motter, Carlisle, and Raymond Motter, Harrisburg, three daughters, Judith Kann, Newville, Debra Kail, Carlisle and Diana Breya, of McClure, two step sons, Ray E. Jumper, Shippensburg and Richard L. Jumper, Chambersburg, one step daughter, Carolyn M.. Oliver, Cornelius, NC, two sisters, Betty Baker, Shippensburg and Donna Shuman, Chambersburg, 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marlin H. Motter, Sr., second husband, Floyd R. Jumper, one son, Robert Motter who died in 2010 two brothers, Richard and Raymond Gipe and two sisters, Beatrice Nye and Shirley Porter.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral home Inc., with the Rev John G. Pogue officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
