Margaret (Peg) Hoffman, 78, loving and devoted wife of Roy Hoffman, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
Born Monday, November 29, 1943 in Camden, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frank Edwin and Sarah E. Eldridge Smith.
Peg attended Collingswood, NJ High School, Catawba College, NC, and graduated from Miami University of Ohio. Peg taught Jr. High Science, but then devoted her full time as a mother. She later taught special education students on a part-time basis.
Peg did many years of service in her churches that included Administrative Assistant and Sunday School Teacher. She also had an active part in the local food bank and the Children’s Evangelical Fellowship.
Her hobbies included gardening, traveling, hiking, camping and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Roy, whom she married March 11, 1967; her sons, Stephen of Newville, PA, Thomas and his wife Jocelyn of Cheltenham, PA; and four grandchildren, Maddie, Matthew, Nathan and Emily.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Gail Benson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Robert Gray officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday in the funeral home.
