Malinda E. King, 67, of Shippensburg, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born on April 11, 1944, in Gordonville, PA, a daughter of the late David K. and Sarah P. Esh King.
Malinda is survived by her husband, Amos K. King; six sons, Benuel (Arielynn) King of Newburg, Amos (Lavina) King of Shippensburg, Ike (Anna) King of Newburg, Rueben (Katie) King of Shippensburg, Omar (Rosanna) King of Newburg, and Ephraim King of Shippensburg; five daughters, Emma (Chester) Zook, of Lykens, Sarah (Steven) Hostetler of Newburg, Susie (Gideon) Kurtz of Newburg, Malinda King of Shippensburg, and Fannie (Andrew) Stoltzfus of Newville; four brothers, John, Benjamin, Elam, and Eli; five sisters, Rebecca, Malinda, Lizzie, Sarah, and Sylvia; and fourty five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, John King; and three brothers, Ephraim, David, and Amos.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 379 Running Pump Road Shippensburg, PA 17257. Interment will be in the Blue Mountain Amish Cemetery. Viewing will be from the time of this notice, until the time of the service on Tuesday, at the same address.
Her family request’s the omission of flowers.
